Dr. Angie Zinkus is a friendly and compassionate veterinarian with a sincere passion for helping keep Cordova cats and dogs healthy.

Dr. Angie Zinkus began her career in Veterinary Medicine in 1999 after graduating with her BS in Biology from Rhodes College. She started working at Germantown Parkway Animal Hospital as a Veterinary Technician soon after graduating and found her passion thanks to the guidance of Drs Widdop, Romines, and Wolverton.
Dr. Zinkus graduated from Mississippi State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007 where she was vice president of her class and was awarded the AVMA Outstanding Senior Veterinary Student Award. Shortly after graduation Dr. Zinkus became an associate Veterinarian at GPAH and is currently not only the Medical Director of GPAH but also of Arkansas Veterinary Emergency and Specialists. Dr. Zinkus is additionally the Regional Medical Advisor for 20 hospitals in Tennessee, Mississippi, and Arkansas and has been a member on the Tennessee State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners.
When not working at GPAH, Dr. Zinkus can be found sitting courtside at the Memphis Grizzlies games or on her boat fishing. She is an avid runner/triathlete and won the female division in the St. Jude Memphis Marathon in 2012. Dr. Zinkus also loves spending time with her family and especially her dachshund Yogi. She loves being a Veterinarian because no two days, hours, or seconds are ever the same!!
